heat required is used to raise temp. but not to change state so ,
amount of heat Q=m.s.dt
where Q is amount of heat = ?
m is mass of substance = 0.2 kg
dt is change in temp. = 60-20 = 40
s is specific heat =4200J/kg.T
so required heat Q = 0.2 × 4200 × 40
= 33,600J = 33.6 KJ
