A determiner is an important noun modifier which provides and intoduces context to a noun, often in terms of quantity and possession.

It precede a noun or noun phrase and includes- articles(a, an, the), demonstratives(this, that, these, those), quanitifiers( all, few, many) and possessives (my, your, our, their).
