All of these are in direct proportion.

so,the formula for it is

x1/y1=x2/y2

According to the question

=> 10/5=x1/10

=> 10/5=x/10

=. 10×10=5× x

=. 100=5x

=. 100/5=x

=. 20= x

Hence,it is 20/10

=>. 10/5= 30/y2

=>. 10×y=30×5

=. 10y=150

=. y= 150/10

=. y= 15

Hence it is 30/15.

=>. 10/5=46/y3

=>10×y=46×5

=10y=230

y=230/10

y=23.

Hence,it is 46/23.

Hope it will help you!!

Here x and y are directly proportional.

  ⇒ x ∝ y

Finding the constant of proportionality...

  ⇒ x/y = 10/5 = 2

∴ x = 2y   &   y = x/2

Thus,

  • 10 : 5 :: x : 10
  •   ⇒ x = 2y = 2 × 10 = 20

  • 10 : 5 :: 30 : y
  •   ⇒ y = x/2 = 30 / 2 = 15

  • 10 : 5 :: 46 : y
  •   ⇒ y = x/2 = 46 / 2 = 23

Thus the answer are 20 at top of 10, 15 at bottom of 15, and 23 at bottom of 46.
