\sf (100 + 6) \sf (100 + 6)

\sf (100 + 6)^{2}

\sf 100^{2} + 2 ( 100 )( 6 ) + 6^{2}

\sf 10000 + 1200 + 36

\boxed{\sf 11236}

106 \times 106 \\  = (100 + 6)(100 + 6) \\  = (100 + 6) {}^{2}  \\  = (100) {}^{2}  + 2(100)(6) + (6) {}^{2}  \\  = 10000 + 1200 + 36 \\  = 11236
