let the first consecutive even integer be 2x then the other will be 2x +2

A.T.Q

2/5(2x+2) - 1/4(2x) = 1

4x/5 + 4/5 - 2x/4 = 1

4x/5 - x/2 = 1 - 4/5

8x - 5x /10 = 1-4/5

3x/10 = 1/5

15x = 10

x = 10/15 = 2/3

2x + 2 = 2×2/3 +2 = 7/3

2x=4/3

Hope it helps you friend .
Have a nice day.
