Let the 1st number be x
then 2nd number will be x + 18
Sum of both numbers = 92 ( given )
=> x + x + 18 = 92
=> 2x = 92-18
=> 2x = 74
=> x = 74/2
=> x = 37
So , the 1 st number is 37 and the
2 nd number is x + 18 , i.e ,
37 + 18 = 55 .
Hence , the required numbers are 37 and 55 .
