So, any even integer can be written as 2n, where n can take any value.
Since you want three consecutive integers here, the numbers can be taken as 2n, 2n + 2, and 2n + 4. ( Every even integer will be spaced out by 2 with respect to its immediate neighbour)
So, add them up, and you have 6n + 6 = -36.

Let the three consecutive numbers be x-2 , x and x+2
(x-2)+x+(x+2) = 36
3x = 36
x = 36/3
x = 12
x+2 = 12+2 = 14
x-2 = 12-2 = 10

So the three consecutive numbers are 10,12 and 14
