There are infinite rational numbers between any two rational no.

So rational numbers between -2 and -1 can be found as.

So firstly multiply and divide the number by any number.

Eg. -2*5/5 and -1*5/5

So number becomes -10/5 and -5/5

Here we multiplied by 5 and divide by 5.

It can be any number

Remember for simplicity to calculate rational number between any two numbers, their denominator must be same.

And here we get 5 as our denominator in both the number.

So our numbers are -10/5 and -5/5 which are equivalent to -2 and -1

Now the rational number between these numbers will be by increasing the denominator by 1 from left side of the number

So here we get

-10/6, -10/7, -10/8, -10/9

So these were some rational numbers which lie between -2 and -1 .
