Ap is 20,17,14,11
We know that common difference d=T(2)-T(1)
Hence d=17-20=-3

We also know that T(n) = a+(n-1)d
Therefore T(35)=20+(35-1)*-3
=20+(34*-3)=20+(-102)=-82
35th term of given AP is - 82

Given:

AP is 20,17,14,11.....

To find:

The 35th term of given AP.

Solution:

We have,

20,17,14,11..... are in AP.

Here,

First term: a=20

Common difference: d = 17-20 = -3

nth term of an AP is

a_n=a+(n-1)d

where, a is first term and d is common difference.

Putting n=35, a=20 and d=-3 in the above formula, to find the 35th term.

a_{35}=20+(35-1)(-3)

a_{35}=20+(34)(-3)

a_{35}=20-102

a_{35}=-82

Therefore, the 35th term of the given AP is -82.
