Answer :

We have,

  • Two rational number  \dfrac{ - 1}{2} and  \dfrac{1}{2}

To do,

  • Find 4 rational between these two given rational number.

Solution :

Firstly ,

  • As we have to find four rational number we will multiply 5 to both the numbers.
  • That is, ( n + 1 ) = ( 4 + 1 )

=  \dfrac{ - 1×5}{2×5} ;  \dfrac{1×5}{2×5}

=  \dfrac{ - 5}{10} ;  \dfrac{5}{10}

Now, the four rational numbers are,

 \dfrac{ - 4}{10} ,  \dfrac{ - 3}{10} ,  \dfrac{ - 2}{10} ,  \dfrac{ - 1}{10}
