First add both the fractions irrespective of the numerator and the denominator:

i.e. 3/5 + 4/5 = 3+4/5+5

                     = 7/10

7/10 is the first no between them

similarly for the second no and third no, add 3/4 and 4/5 to 7/10 like;

3+7/ 5+10 and 4 + 7/ 5+ 10

= 10/15 and 11/15

the process repeats;

10 + 3 / 17 + 5 and 11 +4 / 15 + 5

= 13/22 and 15/20

thus five rational no.s between 3/5 and 4/5 are :

7/10 , 10/15 , 11 / 15 , 13/22 and 15/20
