<b>Topic:- Arithmetic Sequence<b>

We know that formula of Last end terms of AP

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION;

Here..

a=17

d=14-17
=-3

n=6
Last term=40

We know that formula of last terms.

l-(n-1)d

Now putting the value of Required terms:

40-(6-1)-3

40-(5)-3

40-(-15)

40+15

55

Thanks!!!

a= 17, d= 14-17= -3
6th term = a+(n-1)d
= 40+( 6-1)(-3)
= 40 +5(-3)
= 40+(-15)=40-15=25
