heya..!!!!

we know that:-

general formula for cubic Polynomial is:-

x³ - ( alpha + beta + gamma) x² + ( alpha×beta + beta + gamma × alpha ) x - alpha × beta × gamma

given that:-

(alpha + beta + gamma) = 5

(alpha×beta + beta×gamma + gamma × alpha) = -2

AND,

(alpha × beta × gamma) = -24

now put this value in the general equation

we get,

x³ - ( alpha + beta + gamma) x² + ( alpha×beta + beta + gamma × alpha ) x - alpha × beta × gamma

=> x³ - (5)x² + (-2)x - (-24)

=> x³ - 5x² - 2x + 24 = 0
