Given that ,

Slope (m) = 5

Y intercept (c) = -9

As we know that ,

 \large \sf \fbox{y = mx + c}

Where ,

  • m = slope
  • c = Slope intercept

Thus ,

y = 5x - (-9)

y = 5x + 9

5x - y + 9 = 0

  \therefore \sf \underline{The \:  equation \:  of \:  the  \: straight \:  line \:  is \:  5x - y + 9 = 0}
