=> ( a + 3 ) ( a - 7 ) = ( a + 2 ) ( a - 2 ).

=> a^2 - 7a - 3a - 21 = a^2 - 4.

=> -4a = -4 + 21.

=> a = -17/4.

=> a = -4.25.
