sorry for asking  is it a rationalnumber or national number?
if it is a rational number then the answer is 
we can find rational number by using formula a+b/2
                                       here a:2 &b:3
                        substitute in formula a+b/2
          we get,
                      2+3/2=5/2   THE RATIONAL NUMBER B/W 2 & 3 IS 5/2
