Hi friend!!

Let the number be 'x'

Given

A number whose double is 39 greater than its half

→2x=(x/2)+39

2x-(x/2)=39

3x/2=39

x=78/3

x=26

So, the number is 26.

Let the number be 2x,

4x = 39 + x

4x - x = 39

3x = 39

x = 39/3 = 13

Required number is 2x = 2(13) = 26
