x + y = 180
Also, Given that x - 18 = y.
Now, We have
x+y = 180
x-18 =y.
Now, Substitute value of y.
x + ( x - 18 ) = 180
2x - 18 = 180
2x = 198
x = 99 .
y = 99 - 18 = 81
