We know the basic Pythagorean

triplet 3, 4 and 5.

Let us construct a triangle which have sides in a multiple of 3, 4 & 5.

here AB=3a

BC=4a

& let, get AC as 5a

From Pythagoras theorem

where aϵz+

AC²=AB²+BC²

=(3a)²+(4a)²

=9a²+16a²

AC² =25a²

AC=5a

So, Let us put a = 4 we get

AB = 12, BC = 16 & AC = 20.

So, We have Pythagorean triplet:

We have Pythagorean triplet:12, 16 and 20.

We know the basic Pythagorean

triplet 3, 4 and 5.

Let us construct a triangle which have sides in a multiple of 3, 4 & 5.

here AB=3a

BC=4a

From Pythagoras theorem

AC 2 =AB 2 +BC 2

=(3a) 2 +(4a) 2

=9a 2+16a 2

AC 2=25a 2

AC=5a

So, Let us put a = 4 we get

AB = 12, BC = 16 & AC = 20.

So, We have Pythagorean triplet:

12, 16 and 20.

Therefore the Pythagoras triplet is 12,16 and 20.
