Answer:
Quadratic polynomial is given by:
p(x) = k(x² -(sum of roots)x +(product of roots))
, for some constant k.
Mug it up. There is hardly a few board papers in which this concept is excluded (CBSE).
So, sum of roots = √2
Product of roots = -3/2
So, polynomial is:
p(x) = k( x² - (√2)x + (-3/2))
p(x) = k ( x² - √2x -3/2)
