Answer:

-3/12 , -2/12 , -1/12 , 0/12 , 1/12 , 2/12 & 3/12

Step-by-step explanation:

-1/3 & 1/4

LCM(3,4)=12

LCM(3,4)=12-1*4/12 & 1*3/12

LCM(3,4)=12-1*4/12 & 1*3/12-4/12 & 3/12

LCM(3,4)=12-1*4/12 & 1*3/12-4/12 & 3/12 So, therefore the rational numbers between -1/3&1/4 are,

LCM(3,4)=12-1*4/12 & 1*3/12-4/12 & 3/12 So, therefore the rational numbers between -1/3&1/4 are,-3/12 , -2/12 , -1/12 , 0/12 , 1/12 , 2/12 & 3/12

Answer:

first,we have to make the denominators same.for that you have to find a common factor in both the denominators.

so you have to LCM.

the common factor is 12.since it comes in the table of both denominators.

so,-1/3 × 4/4= -4/12

and,1/4 × 3/3=3/12

second, we should add 1 to the amount of rational number we need.

here we only need one rational number so 1+1=2.

then we should multiply both the fraction by 2.

so,4/12 × 2/2 =8/24

   3/12  × 2/2=6/24

so the rational number between both the fraction you gave is 7/24
