Rational number:

= > A number which can be expressed in the form of p/q, where p,q are integers and q ≠ 0.

= > They are terminating (or) has finite number of digits.

Now,

The rational number whose decimal expansion is 0.5 = (1/2).

Here, (1/2) is a terminating rational number.

Hope this helps!
