Here's the answer. I hope this helps. Mark it as the brainliest, if you want to.

ambikaahuja30: I've explained above that it gets multiplied by 0. Now thank you! Don't fill my notification box.
k2003: thank you very much ! ambikaa
k2003: but i think the formula is not right the half u have not included i.e. 1/2 *x1 (y2-y3)+x2 (y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2) =0 but the answer will be same so ur answer is right
nikhil251: does nt matter whether the ans. is wrong or right . the point is that the formula is wrong
nikhil251: the main syep is wrong so you dont get even 1 mark
ambikaahuja30: Look, being in 10th standard I don't think there's a need to explain that things which get multiplied by 0 result into 0. As area is given as collinear then the 1/2 and modulas gets multiplied by by 0 to avoid lengthy calculations. Hence, the formula is not wrong as it's a thing you read in 1st standard. Thank you!
nikhil251: okk okk
nikhil251: dont be hyper
ambikaahuja30: I'm not getting hyper , just stating a fact. :)

Consider three points A(x,y) B(1,2) and C(7,0)
Find distance between of AB and distance of BC . Now equate AB = BC.

k2003: i could not understand can you show that answer ??
k2003: no i have tried it but the answer is not right this is wrong method i am sorry to tell but the above is the correct and easiest method
k2003: above means ambikaa's method
k2003: u should follw it
nikhil251: ok
k2003: hmm
