-5x + 2y = 9...............(i)× 3

3x + 5y = 7...............(ii)× 5

-15x + 6y = 27

+15x + 25y = 35

________________

0 + 31y = 62

________________

y = 62/31

y = 2

Now subs 'y' in eqn.(ii)

i.e. 3x+5y=7

3x + 5(2) =7

3x = 7-10

3x = -3

x = -1

- 5 x + 2 y = 9. .......( 1)

y = 9 - 5 x by 2. ...........(2)

3 X + 5 Y =7. ........(3)

3x +5 ( 9 + 5x )/2=7

(6x +45+25x)=7*2

31x +45 =14

31x =14 -45

x=-34/31. ............ (4)

y=[9-5(-34/31)]/2

y=(279+170)/31 into q/2

y=449/62

I hope this will help you
