2×4-2×3-7×2+3x+6x
= 8-6-14+3×2×2/3+6×2×2/3
= -12 + 4 + 8
= -12 +12
= 0

so it is a zero of the polynomial.

2×4-2×3-7×2+3x+6x
=8-6-14+3×3×3/2+6×3×3/2
=-12 +27/2 +27
=-12+27 +27/2
=15+27/2

so it is not zero of the polynomial.
