if you want simple interest then;
=2000×3×10/100₹
=600₹
amount=2000₹+600₹=2600₹

but if you want compound interest then;
=2000(1+10/100)^3
=2000×11/10×11/10×11/10
=2662₹

and p.a means per annum

i hope it may help you!

The amount will be ₹ 2600.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the amount, we need to calculate the simple interest and then add it to the principal.

In the given question: Principal, P = ₹ 2000, Rate of interest, R = 10% p.a

and the time period of investment, T = 3 years

Now, using the formula for Simple Interest, SI = \frac{(P\times R \times T)}{100}

= ₹ 2000\times10\times3/100

= ₹ 600

Hence, the amount = P + SI = ₹ 2000 + ₹ 600 = ₹ 2600
