Answer:

Probability of getting a red card is- 50%

Probability of getting a black card is- 50%

Probability of getting an ace is- 7.69%

And, Probability of getting a spade is- 25%

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 4 types of card namely:-

1)Club♣️

2) Diamond♦️

3) Heart♥️

4)Spade♠️

Now,there are 52 cards in total which consists of 13 cards of each types .i.e., 13 cards of diamond.

It can be seen that there are 2 types of red cards, Diamond and Heart and 2 types of black cards,Club and Spade.

(a) Therefore; Probability of getting a red card(in percentage)= (no. of diamonds♦️+ no. of hearts♥️/total no. of cards)×100

=(13+13/52)×100

=50%

(b) Also, Probability of getting a black card=(no. of clubs♣️+ no. of spades♠️/total no. of cards)×100

=(13+13/52)×100

=50%

It is known that there are 4 ace cards of each of the 4 types mentioned above,

(c) Therefore; Probability of getting an ace=(no. of ace card/total no. of cards)/100

=(4/52)×100

=7.69% appx

(d) Simmilarly, Probability of getting a spade= (no. of spades♠️/total no. of cards)×100

=(13/52)×100

=25%
