Area of triangle ABC = 1/2 × b × h
= 1/2 × 3.8 × 6
= 11.4 sq. cm
Area of triangle ADC = 1/2 × b × h
= 1/2 × 7.2 × 6
= 21.6 sq cm

Area of quad. ABCD = Area of triangle ABC + Area of triangle ACD
= 11.4 + 21.6
= 33 sq. cm
