Answer:

187.5 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that the area of a triangle is 1/2 * base * height.

so, substituting the values-

= 1/2 *15 * 25

= 375/2

= 187.5

therefore, the area of the triangle is 187.5 cm^2

hope this helps!

Base =15cm, Hypotenuse =25 cm

Height =  \sqrt{{(Hypotenuse)}^{2} +{Base}^{2}}

Area of right △=  \frac{1}{2} ×base×altitute

Using Pythagoras theorems,

Altitute = \sqrt{(AC)^{2} −(BC)^{2}}

 =  \sqrt{ ({25})^{2} - ( {15})^{2}  }  =  \sqrt{625 - 225}

 =  \sqrt{400}  = 20 \: cm

Therefore, area of right triangle

Area of right △=  \frac{1}{2} ×base×altitute

Area of △=  \frac{1}{2} ×15×20=[/tex]

Area of △=  \frac{1}{2} ×15×2[/tex]

 =150  \: {cm}^{2}
