here is your solution

Given :-

side of square = 2a-b

we know that area of square =
(side) {}^{2}

(2a - b) {}^{2} = 4a {}^{2} + b {}^{2} - 4ab

Note :- (a-b)^2=a^2+b^2- 2ab

The area = (2a - b )^2
= (2a)^2 -2*2a*b +(b)^2
= 4a^2 -4ab + b^2
