so,

Δ ADC = (3 x 4) ÷ 2 = 12 ÷ 2 = 6cm²

Δ BHC = (7 x 5) ÷ 2 = 35 ÷ 2 = 17.5 cm²

Δ AHB = (4 x 5) ÷ 2 = 20 ÷ 2 = 10 cm²

Now,

area of quadrilateral = 6 + 17.5 + 10 (cm)

                                  = 23.5 + 10

                                  = 24.5 cm²
