then use the formula of triangle half into base into height.

By using Pythagoras Theorem

AB ^2 = BC^2 + AC^2

AB^2 = 5^2 + 4^2

AB^2 = 25+16

AB^2 = 41cm

AB = √41

AB = 6.4 cm
