Right Circular Cylinder:

Diameter = 40 cm

Radius = 20 cm

Height = 55 cm

TSA of a cylinder = 2πr(h+r) sq.units

= 2 × 22/7 × 20 ( 55 + 20 )

= 2× 22/7 ×20(75)

= 3000 × 22/7

= 3000π sq.cm (or) 9428.57 sq.cm

CSA of a cylinder = 2πrh sq.units

= 2 × 22/7 × 20 × 55

= 2200 × 22/7

= 6914.28 sq.cm (or) 2200π sq.cm
