Answer:

Arranging the observations in ascending order:

2, 3, 5, 8, 11, 15, 20.

N = 7 (odd number). Q1 (Lower Quartile) = (N+1)/4 = (7+1)/4 = 2nd item. Therefore, Q1 = 3.

Q3 (Upper Quartile) = 3(N+1)/4 = 3(7+1)/4 = 6th item = 15.

Coefficient of Quartile Deviation = (Q3-Q1)/(Q3+Q1) = (15-3)/(15+3) = 0.67.
