The current flowing in the entire circuit can be calculated using Ohm's law :

We know that in series combination the voltage divides while the current in same in all resistors while in parallel combination the voltage remains the same while the current divides.

So, the voltage across the 10 ohm resistor is, V = 1 × 10 = 10 V

The  voltage across the 3 ohm and 6 ohms resistor is, V = 12 - 10 = 2 V
