Question:

Find discriminant of the equation 3x²-2x+4=0 & hence find the nature of root?

Answer:

as we know that Discriminant is denoted by capital D

D = b²-4ac

= (-2)²-4(3)(4)

= 4-48

D = -44

therefore , the equation has no real roots or the equation has imaginary roots

hope it helps
