So,

Therefore,
dy/dx = d sec u / du * d e^x / d x
= (sec u * tan u) * e^x
Now, u = e^x
So,

= sec e^x * tan e^x * e^x
Therefore
dy / dx = sec e^x * tan e^x * e^x
