Find f(–2) for the function f(x) = 3x2 – 2x + 7.

f(-2)= 3(-2)^2-2(-2)+7=12+4+7=23

Given function:

f(x) = 3x^2 - 2x + 7 ---- (A)

f(-2) means that we have to put x = -2 in equation (A):

f(-2) = 3(-2)^2 - 2(-2) + 7

f(-2) = 3*4 + 4 + 7

f(-2) = 12+4+7

f(-2) = 23
