 Given \: 3x^{2} - 12x

 = (3x)\times x - (3x) \times 4

 = 3x( x - 4)

 = 3x[ (\sqrt{x})^{2} - 2^{2} ]

 = 3x(\sqrt{x}+2)(\sqrt{x}-2)

/* By algebraic identity */

 \boxed{\pink{ a^{2} - b^{2} = (a+b)(a-b) }}

Therefore.,
