First of all to find the rational numbers between any 2 fractions we need to take the LCM of their denominators.☺

So, the LCM of the denominators of the Fractions. -2/3 and 1/5 is " 15 "

Now we have to substitute the value of the denominators of the fractions 3 and 5 by 15. Because 15 is the LCM, Right?

Substituting the values of the denominators are done my multiplying to get the value '15' in the same way we have to multiply the numerators with what number we multiply the denominators. It is done just like when we take the sum of two Fractions but here we shouldn't take the sum out. That's it!☺

So,

➡. -2×5/3×5 and. 1×3/5×3

➡. -10/15 and. 3/15

Now again you got two new fractions by by taking the LCM

that's,

➡. -10/15. and. 3/15

See, it became easy to find the rational numbers between these two fractions. ☺

Therefore, five rational numbers between -10/15 and. 3/15 are..

➡ -9/15 , -5/15 , -3/15 , -1/15 , 2/15

Here in the question they have asked only five so I picked up random 5 fractions between that two fractions..

Hope you understand!☺
