Step-by-step explanation:

1)Required number of rational number between 1 and 2 = 5

so, 1 can be written as 1×(n+1)/(n+1)

=1×(5+1)(5+1)

=1×6/6

=6/6

and 2 can be written as 2×(n+1)/(n+1)

=2×(5+1)/(5+1)

=2×6/6

=12/6

so rational numbers are 7/6,8/6,9/6,10/6,11/6

2) Required number of rational number between 3 and 4 =6

so 3 can be written as 3(n+1)/(n+1)

=3(6+1)/(6+1)

=3×7/7

=21/7

and 4 can be written as 4(n+1)/(n+1)

=4(6+1)/(6+1)

=4×7/7

=28/7

so rational numbers are 22/7,23/7,24/7,25/7,26/7,27/7
