a + 2 = b - 2 = c \times 2 = d \div 2 = 45  what is \: value \: of \: abcd

a = 8

b =12

c = 5

d = 20

solution:

b= a+4

c= \frac{a+2}{2}

d=  2(a+2)

given sum = 45

i.e., a + b + c + d = 45

⇒ a   +  (a+4)  +  ( \frac{a+2}{2})   + 2(a+2) = 45

⇒ 4a +  8  +  ( \frac{a+2}{2})  = 45

⇒  8a  + 16 + a + 2 =  90

⇒  9a  + 18 =  90

⇒   9a  =  72

⇒   a = 8

∴ b =12

c = 5

d = 20
