a+b by 2 is the formula to be used .
here a= 2/3 b=8/3
2/3+8/3 by 2 = 11/3/2 = 11/6
11/6 is a rational number between 2/3 and 8/3
a=2/3 b=11/6
2/3+11/6 by 2= 15/6/2= 15/6*2= 15/12
15/12 is a rational number between 2/3 and 11/6
now a=11/6 b=8/3
11/6+8/3 by 2= 27/6/2=27/6*2=27/12
27/12 is a rational number between 11/6 and 8/3
now a=11/6 b=27/12
11/6+27/2 by 2 = 65/6/2= 65/12
 therefore 4 rational numbers between 2/3 and 8/3 =11/6,15/12,27/12 and 65/12

RaghavShrivastav: Your answer and method, both are correct but this is a lengthy and difficult method.

Since denominators are same multiply both the numbers by 10. So after multiplying we get the numbers as 20/3 and 80/3. Now you can find out the rational numbers between them which can be any four among them. For eg, 21/3 or 43/3 or 79/3 or 36/3 or anything.
