To find : four rational numbers between 2  and 3

Solution:

  • According question we have to find rational numbers between 2  and 3
  • For this we write whole numbers in the form of fraction as multiple of 10.
  • Therefore, we get , 2 = \frac{2\times 10}{1\times 10} = \frac{20}{10}  and

                                         3 = \frac{3\times 10}{1\times 10} = \frac{30}{10}

  • Now, we can find rational numbers between \frac{20}{10}  and \frac{30}{10} .
  • They are : \frac{21}{10} , \frac{22}{10} , \frac{23}{10} , \frac{24}{10}

Hence, 4 rational numbers between 2  and 3 are \frac{21}{10} , \frac{22}{10} , \frac{23}{10} , \frac{24}{10} .
