The Highest Common Factor is k.

Given:

2k, 3k, 4k, 5k where k is positive

To find:

HCF of the given series

Solution:

In order to find H.C.F., we need to find prime factors of each number,

Now, we get

k = 1 x k

2k = 2 x k

3k = 3 x k

4k = 4 x k

5k = 5 x k

From above mentioned prime factors, we know that k is the only common factor,

Thus, H.C.F = k

Answer:

H.C.F. =K

Step-by-step explanation:

factorc-

k=k

k2=k x k

k3=k x k x k

k4 =k x k x k x k

k5= k x k x k x k x k

common= k

so hcf =k
