Side of square shaped village = 14 km

= 14000 m

Area = Side ^2

= 14000 * 14000 m^2

= 14000* 14000 / 10000 hectares

[ 1 hectares = 10,000 m^2]

= 1400*14

= 19600 hectares

hiii!!!

here's ur answer....

given the side of the square shaped village is 14km.

area of the village = side²

= 14×14

= 196km²

we know that 1km² is 100 hectares

therefore 196km² = 196×100

= 19600 hectares

hope this helps..!
