8^2 is 64 and 2^5 is also 64 so you can do it like this

hello mate,

In this question, we need to find the exponential form of :

 {8}^{ - 2}

with base 2 that is we need to replace 8 by 2 with proper change in power's.

So as we know :

8 = {2}^{3}

Now,

 {8}^{ - 2} = {2}^{3 \times - 2}

 {8}^{ - 2} = {2}^{ - 6}

Here we get the answer i.e.option(i)

 {2}^{ - 6}
