given
(-2, -2) is the solution
therefore
x = -2 and y = -2

on putting values, we get
2x - ky = 9

2 × (-2) - k × (-2) = 9

-4 + 2k = 9

2k = 9 + 4 = 13

Ans. k = 13/2
