Find K, if the sum of the zeroes of the polynomial x2 -(k+6) x + 2 (2k-1) is half their product.

k+6)/1=2(2k-1)/2
k+6=2k-1
2k-k=6+1
k=7

Sum of zeros is 'a' + 'B' = -b/a
product of zeros is aB = c/a

According to the question,

a + B = aB/2
-b/a = c/a/2
k + 6 = 2(2k-1)/2
k + 6 = 2k - 1
-k = -7
k = 7
