Find k , if x = 2 , y = 3 in the equation :

kx + 3y = 12

put values in kx+3y= 12 
we get 2k+9= 12 
               2k=3
                 k=3/2

2k +3*3 = 12
2k + 9=12
2k =12-9
2k=3
k=3/2
